New way of thinking: During the renaissance explorers of Europe thought that all there was to the world was Europe, Asia and Africa. That was until Christopher Columbus decided to sail across the atlantic ocean to see if there was more to the world. Christopher returned and said there was no more just a new part of asia. Amerigo Vespucci decided he must go over and map out the world since everything was discovered. When he was mapping it became less and less plausible for there only to be three continents in the world.
